Doosan Babcock secures 20-year contract on Sellafield Programme and Project Partnership (PPP)

Doosan Babcock has today, Thursday 9th May, signed a contract to become the
Process Construction Management partner in a 20-year alliance arrangement with
Sellafield Ltd.

This contract is one of four which form the new Programme and Project Partnership,
creating long term, collaboration based relationships with Sellafield Ltd and our three
partners. It aims to transform project delivery for the Sellafield site which involves
one of the most complex portfolios of construction projects in the world.

Within the PPP Alliance the company has primary responsibility as the Construction
Management partner for major projects with a Process plant bias. 1

Andy Colquhoun, CEO of Doosan Babcock commented:

“This contract is testament to our outstanding track record of delivering work across
the Sellafield site safely and successfully for many years.

– Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) Ltd; Design and Engineering
– Wood Nuclear Limited; Civils Construction Management
– Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure Ltd; Process Construction Management
